This is the foundation of our Massage Therapy practice, and we have great pride in our approach to care. Active Solutions Registered Massage Therapy is owned and operated by Registered Massage Therapist, Carrie Anne Alderdice. As a member of the healthcare community, Carrie has been providing Massage Therapy to the residents of Oakville and GTHA for over 10 years.

Carrie Alderdice BAHSc (AT), RMT

Carrie has a thorough education in the science of musculoskeletal disorder & dysfunction. After graduating with Honours from Sheridan College, Institute of Technology & Advanced Learning with a Bachelors of Applied Health Sciences, Athletic Therapy degree in 2011 she went on to complete her diploma in Massage Therapy at the Ontario College of Health & Technology. Carrie has been practicing as a Registered Massage therapist within the clinical setting since completing her registration exams with the CMTO in 2013 and has specialized in orthopaedic and sports injury.

With a profound passion for learning, Carrie has continued to pursue further education by taking professional development courses in topics such as CranioSacral Therapy, Strain & Counter Strain, Direct Myofascial Release, Kinesio taping, Prenatal Massage (Pregnancy Massage), Basic Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Dry Cupping, Soft Tissue Release, Visceral Manipulation, Advanced Sports Massage, Muscle Energy Technique and more.
